Description: Foxfield F.A.R.M (For A Recovery Mission) located in Granby, CT is a not for profit charity that has been established to provide an Equine (Horse Therapy) Groundwork Training Therapy Program for U.S veterans with PTSD incurred through military service. Similar programs throughout the U.S. have proven to be successful in support of veterans' transition from the battlefield to the home front and an improved quality of life. There is a $25.00 enrollment fee to confirm participation in the program, however, there are no further costs for any part of the curriculum. This fee is due at the time of completed registration forms.
There are (4) objectives to the ‘F.A.R.M.’ Equine Therapy program
Veteran participants will be a valuable resource to improving the quality of life for equines who would otherwise be at risk and potential “killer” facilities outside the U.S. In turn, these horses will support their path to rehabilitation from the ravages of PTSD…a perfect synergy.
