Description: CAMO’s primary focus is to teach adaptive tools and techniques to servicemen and women diagnosed with a physical or cognitive disability. Our secondary focus is to emphasize and facilitate the continued pursuit of physical and psychological wellness through outdoor recreation.
Participation is open to male and female military active-duty or retired service veterans with a service-connected physical or cognitive disability including spinal cord injuries (SCI), amputations, visual impairments, hearing impairments, traumatic brain injuries (TBI). CAMO also considers system disabilities including: Neurological, dermatological, endocrinological, gastrointestinal, rheumatological, and musculoskeletal. Post-traumatic Stress (PTS) is recognized as a cognitive disability but falls below the above on our list of priorities.
