Description: The Emory Healthcare Veterans Program is designed to treat the “invisible wounds” of war, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) anxiety and depression related to past military service.
Our team includes professionals in psychiatry, neurology, neuropsychology, social work and other fields. We’re experienced in working with combat veterans, and many of us have served as well. We understand the stresses of war and the challenges of returning to daily life here at home. Together, we’ll chart a course to help you find your way to peace of mind and your best life.
Life-Changing Help at No Cost
Thanks to funding from our generous partners, Emory Healthcare Veterans Program offers care at no cost to eligible post-9/11 Veterans. Travel, lodging and meals are also provided at no cost to program participants. See our treatment and services page for eligibility criteria.
Emory Healthcare Veterans Program offers two treatment pathways: Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Traditional Outpatient Program (OP). If you are local or from other parts of the country, you may participate in our two-week IOP. Because our traditional Outpatient Program’s length of treatment varies and requires multiple visits to our clinic in Atlanta, this treatment option is best suited for warriors who live in the Metro Atlanta area and aren’t able to take off two weeks for the IOP.
